Engineering and Facades - Head of Project Management Office

Humres - Construction Recruitment Specialists is seeking an experienced and visionary Head of their Project Management Office to spearhead their strategic programs aimed at driving company growth.

About the Role

  • Support the COO in prioritizing programs and projects that align with the company's strategic agenda.
  • Act as the Single Point of Contact for new program, project, or initiative requests that span multiple functions within the company.
  • Evaluate new requests by understanding business needs and assessing initiatives based on KPIs, ROI, legal requirements, risk, and business impact.
  • Oversee the progress of existing programs and projects in collaboration with dedicated project managers and executing groups.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the company's DNA and maintain strong connections with interest groups and stakeholders across the organization.
  • Directly report to the COO for strategy and direction of the PMO office.
  • Lead a motivated and engaged team of 4-6 interdisciplinary construction project professionals managing and controlling dedicated programs within the COO agenda.

About You

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in similar roles in international environments, preferably in consulting, engineering, or construction organizations.
  • Proven experience in applying agile project management methodologies, business process management standards (BPM, BPMN), and cost- and budget planning.
  • A strong analytical and strategic thinker with excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Experience in multi-project management of cross-organizational projects interfacing with multinational teams and stakeholders.
  • Relevant certifications, such as PMI/PMP PMO certification.
  • A holistic and systematic approach combined with the ability to focus on building sustainable solutions rather than addressing single issues.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
