Project Management Office Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Management Office Director to join our team at ProXES. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in driving forward our most important strategic projects.
Key Responsibilities- Project Management Office Leadership: Lead the Project Management Office independently, planning, coordinating, and monitoring the key projects of the ProXES Group.
- Project Support: Support projects as needed, acting as a sparring partner to project managers and bridging the gap between projects and senior management.
- Transparency and Communication: Ensure transparency regarding project timelines and goals, and develop and implement countermeasures in case of project deviations.
- Status Reporting: Prepare status reports and present them to the senior management, enhancing and establishing project management standards and methods in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Key Performance Indicators: Collect and improve key performance indicators, calculation logics, and analyses, preparing decision-making materials in direct collaboration with the senior management.
- Project Manager Support: Assist project managers in project planning, coordination, and methodological issues.
- Strong Leadership Skills: Strong sense of responsibility, carrying out tasks independently and goal-oriented.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team.
- Customer Focus: Customer-oriented and meticulous work ethic.
- Language Skills: Fluency in German and English, proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Business Acumen: Charismatic individual with business acumen and assertiveness.
- Education: Degree in Business, Engineering, or similar field.
- Experience: Several years of experience in (multi-)project management.
- Consulting Experience: Consulting experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Project Management Certification: Project management certification, knowledge of traditional and agile methodologies is a plus.
- Analytical Skills: Conceptual thinking, strong analytical skills, and high focus on results.
- Consulting Skills: Consulting skills and systematic, methodical work approach.
