Leading Lithium Sales Expert | Climate Tech Innovation

We are seeking a seasoned Lithium Sales Manager to join our team at tozero, a pioneering deep-tech startup dedicated to advancing the circular economy and addressing the critical demand for sustainable lithium sources.
The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing foundational strategies for our recycled lithium offerings and driving sales across various industries, extending beyond just the battery sector. This role requires a strong understanding of market dynamics, pricing trends, and customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities- Market Development: Identify and analyze target markets for recycled lithium sales, focusing on outside of the battery industry and other sectors, such as ceramics, lubricants, and glass manufacturing.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies for promoting our recycled lithium products, ensuring alignment with market demands and pricing trends.
- Fundamental Setup: Work closely with cross-functional teams to establish the necessary infrastructure for sales operations, including pricing models, sales processes, and customer relationship management.
- Client Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with potential clients and industry partners, effectively communicating the value and benefits of our recycled lithium products.
- Pricing Analysis: Monitor and analyze pricing movements in the lithium market to set competitive pricing structures for our products.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates to the senior leadership team on market trends, customer feedback, and sales performance.
- A proven track record in lithium sales, with experience in trading and selling lithium in the European market.
- Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to secure the best deal for tozero.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- A proactive and self-motivated approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A background in chemistry, materials science, or related fields is a plus, but not mandatory.
- An estimated salary of €80,000 - €110,000 per year, depending on experience.
