Vehicle Validation Performance Specialist

Job Description

As a Vehicle Validation Performance Engineer at Italdesign, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of performance and quality in our vehicle systems. Your key tasks will include:

Responsibilities
  • Coordination of upcoming complaints and escalation of critical topics regarding the release
  • Responsibility for performing test drives on the road to evaluate the latest software and hardware of the complete body system
  • Tracking of mileage and statistics of functions of the test vehicles
  • Evaluation of the test results and comparison with the release requirements
  • Preparation of management documentation including time plan in case of escalation of critical topics

Requirements
  • Responsibility for the correct management of vehicle tests in the worldwide test stations
  • Knowledge of Body System hardware and Software (hardware component and body system ECU) development (Min. 3 Years)
  • Driver experience (Min. 1 Years)
  • Technical Knowledge in the field of Validation
  • Experience in Vehicle Diagnostics
  • Experience in evaluating measurement data (Trace analysis)
  • Ability to work to a very high level of accuracy and detail
  • Leadership and clear sense of direction
  • Negotiation skills
  • Interpersonal skills to build strong contacts with all the different project teams
  • Problem solving ability in cross-functional and multi-cultural environment; able to define problems, collect relevant data, extract meaning from data, and draw valid conclusions
  • Analytical skills and data processing
  • Ability to effectively communicate timelines and project progress with both internal and external management teams
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic working environment and work within a diverse team
