Vehicle Validation Performance Specialist

Job Summary

As a Vehicle Validation Performance Specialist at Italdesign, you will be responsible for coordinating the upcoming complaints and escalation of critical topics regarding the release. You will also be responsible for performing test drives on the road to evaluate the latest software and hardware of the complete body system. Additionally, you will track the mileage and statistics of functions of the test vehicles and evaluate the test results and compare them with the release requirements. Furthermore, you will prepare management documentation including time plans in case of escalation of critical topics.

Responsibilities
  • Coordination of the upcoming complaints and escalation of critical topics regarding the release
  • Responsibility of performing test drives on the road to evaluate the latest software and hardware of the complete body system
  • Tracking of mileage and statistics of functions of the test vehicles
  • Evaluation of the test results and comparison with the release requirements
  • Preparation of management documentation including time plan in case of escalation of critical topics

Requirements
  • Responsibility for the correct management of vehicle tests in the worldwide test stations
  • Knowledge of Body System hardware and Software (hardware component and body system ECU) development (Min. 3 Years)
  • Driver experience (Min. 1 Years)
  • Technical Knowledge in the field of Validation
  • Experience in Vehicle Diagnostics
  • Experience in evaluating measurement data (Trace analysis)
  • Ability to work to a very high level of accuracy and detail
  • Leadership and clear sense of direction
  • Negotiation skills
  • Interpersonal skills to build strong contacts with all the different project teams
  • Problem solving ability in cross-functional and multi-cultural environment; able to define problems, collect relevant data, extract meaning from data, and draw valid conclusions
