Job Title: Expert Cost Engineering

We are seeking a highly skilled Expert Cost Engineering to join our team at E.ON. As a key member of our Supply Chain Excellence division, you will play a crucial role in providing strategic and operational support to our International Category Manager and Management team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain cost intelligence methods and tools to support materials and services
  • Ensure the growth of valuable data sources and external partners through active market research and collaboration
  • Increase transparency in demand, sourcing, and tendering processes to secure forecasting and volume bundling
  • Scale the application and usage of smart cost analytics and cost engineering on materials and services
  • Ensure close and effective interaction with Category teams and Management to deliver valuable data products and secure integration of cost analytics and data insights in decision-making processes
  • Deploy best practices and IT tools to support performance steering and transparency across Categories
  • Build and strengthen business stakeholder relationships, serving as the primary point of contact for data collaboration
Requirements:
  • University degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Technology, or equivalent professional qualification (M.Sc., Diploma)
  • Comprehensive understanding of Supply Chain management and related processes, such as Demand Forecasting, Source-to-Contract
  • First experiences in leading cost engineering initiatives with technical product manager and Category manager
  • Experienced understanding of data management, data validation, and consolidation of key facts and figures
  • Experience in managing analytical projects and methods of data analysis and/or cost planning
  • Proven track record of managing complex stakeholder relationships at the same and higher hierarchical level
  • Strategic thinker with strong acumen for smart analytics and experience in developing and implementing effective solutions/concepts for out-of-the-box inquiries of data assessment
  • Ideal experience in applying data analytics solutions, such as MS Power BI, Tableau, etc.
