Job Description:

The Site Manager is a key role responsible for planning, coordinating, and controlling project activities from inception to completion. This includes ensuring compliance with HSE requirements and quality control policies and standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with Company Policies, Procedures, and Regulations in terms of Health, Safety, Environment, Security, and Quality.
  • Provide leadership to create an organization that ensures work execution in compliance with Quality and project specifications.
  • Coordinate all activities from project award to handover to the client.
  • Plan, organize, and manage activities during mobilization/demobilization phases of equipment, personnel, temporary facilities, and tools.
  • Plan, manage, and organize project services (HSE, Security, Construction, Logistics, QA/QC, Technical Office, etc.) through daily meetings, coordinating activities of each responsible.
  • Plan, organize, and manage operational activities, coordinating daily meetings with Superintendent/Supervisors (direct hiring or subcontractor).
  • Ensure time, cost, quality, and safety targets are met through direct coordination and management of a project construction team, interfacing with project organization, subcontractors, vendors, and clients.
  • Define needs in terms of quantity and quality of resources (personnel, vehicles, and materials) on the construction site, logistic structures, local transport, and communications, coordinating with HR and Logistics for acquisition and programming.
  • Define and monitor remedial actions to alienate work schedules with project targets.
Requirements:
  • 8 years of experience in the role of Site Manager.
  • Advance knowledge of surveying techniques and equipment, design, and overall engineering and company standards.
  • Must be a key team member and team player, with leadership, motivation, and technical skills.
  • Good communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills, planning and organizing ability, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, leadership qualities, and efficient team management skills, adaptability, and stress tolerance.
Education and Certifications:
  • 8 years or more of experience in the role of Construction Manager.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in an engineering-related discipline.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) is a plus.
Work Conditions:
  • Home office and site attendance.
Other Specific Requirements:
  • Familiarity with Company Tools, Procedures, and Process (Construction Management Systems, Document Management System, Project Control Standards, etc.).
  • Computer knowledge of Office (Word, Excel, etc.) and Navisworks.
  • Familiarity with standard codes.
