About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Processing and Data Analysis Specialist to join our team at the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft. As a key member of our Applied Machine Learning group, you will play a crucial role in providing data that feed our Machine Learning Models.
Key Responsibilities
- Search, acquire, and obtain relevant data for our Machine Learning models
- Clean, merge, and preprocess data to ensure accuracy and quality
- Analyze and visualize data to validate their validity and plausibility
- Create databases and insert data to them
- Extract data from databases
Requirements
- Study of computer science, mathematics, physics, or a related field with good to very good grades
- Strong programming skills in Python with knowledge of libraries such as NumPy, PyTorch, Pandas, Scikit-learn, Matplotlib, etc.
- SQL skills are a plus
- Git knowledge is a plus
- Experience in using Linux (Ubuntu) via the terminal
- Ability to write clean and concise code
- Diligence in implementing, testing, and documenting algorithms
- Curiosity about a deeper understanding of Deep Learning architectures
