Role Significance:
In this role, you will play a crucial part in the research and development of clinical biomarkers.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Provide statistical expertise to interdisciplinary teams.
- Formulate statistical strategies tailored to the unique requirements of biomarker projects, focusing on clinical validation and the development of new biomarkers.
- Design statistical frameworks and analysis plans, executing analyses through statistical programming in R, while documenting your methodologies and reporting statistical findings effectively.
- Collaborate with national and international teams in conducting clinical trials, ensuring product quality, and defining statistical algorithms for clinical applications.
- Engage in complex problem-solving with subject matter experts, translating their insights into actionable statistical analyses.
- Contribute actively to our biostatistics group, fostering the sustainable development of our internal statistical capabilities.
- Master's or Diploma in statistics, mathematics, or natural sciences; a PhD with a focus on statistics is preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of practical experience in applied statistics, ideally within the industry, particularly in clinical studies, statistical design of experiments (DoE), quality control, or product validation.
- Strong foundation in statistical methodologies, including ANOVA, linear mixed-effects models, logistic regression, and survival analysis.
- Extensive programming proficiency, preferably in R or SAS.
- Excellent organizational skills coupled with strong communication abilities.
- Proficient command of English.
