In this position you provide important contributions in clinical biomarker research and development.

A day in the life:

You support interdisciplinary teams responsibly with your statistics expertise. You develop statistics strategies for the specific needs of our biomarker projects in clinical validation and positioning of biomarkers as well as development of new biomarkers. You create statistical designs and analysis plans and conduct analyses using statistical programming in R, document your work as well as report and explain statistical results in the project. You are part of national and international teams conducting clinical trials, specifying and verifying product quality, and specifying statistical algorithms for clinical practice. You work on complex tasks together with subject matter experts and translate them into statistical analyses. You are an active member of our biostatistics group and you develop our company-internal statistical portfolio in a sustainable way. The keys to success: Master or Diploma in statistics, mathematics or natural sciences, preferably PhD with statistics focus. At least 3 years of professional experience in applied statistics, preferably in industry, ideally in the fields of clinical studies, statistical design of experiments (DoE), quality control or product validation. Solid statistics knowledge, concerning ANOVA, linear mixed-effects models, logistic regression and survival analysis. Extensive programming experience, ideally in R or SAS. You are well organized and have very good communication skills. Very good command of English.
