Job Summary

The Customer Success Specialist will be working with existing JoVE customers (universities and research centers) to provide post-sales service and support. This role will involve developing relationships with key decision makers and teaching/research staff at universities and research institutes to increase usage of JoVE video resources.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain relationships with existing customers to ensure satisfaction and retention
  • Develop and deliver product awareness and training to new and ongoing customer universities and research institutes
  • Provide customer feedback to sales, product, and marketing teams to inform business decisions
  • Organize and deliver product presentations, webinars, and workshops at conferences, seminars, and client onsite visits
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and customer engagement

Requirements

  • Fluent in German and English
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in a STEM discipline
  • Passion for science, education, and the use of video/technology to enhance the educational process
  • 1-3 years of experience in sales and customer service in the education/publishing market
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to tell a compelling story and build relationships with customers
  • Excellent listening skills and attention to detail
  • Experience in networking and cold calling
