Job Summary
The Customer Success Specialist will be working with existing JoVE customers (universities and research centers) to provide post-sales service and support. This role will involve developing relationships with key decision makers and teaching/research staff at universities and research institutes to increase usage of JoVE video resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain relationships with existing customers to ensure satisfaction and retention
- Develop and deliver product awareness and training to new and ongoing customer universities and research institutes
- Provide customer feedback to sales, product, and marketing teams to inform business decisions
- Organize and deliver product presentations, webinars, and workshops at conferences, seminars, and client onsite visits
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and customer engagement
Requirements
- Fluent in German and English
- Bachelor's or master's degree in a STEM discipline
- Passion for science, education, and the use of video/technology to enhance the educational process
- 1-3 years of experience in sales and customer service in the education/publishing market
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to tell a compelling story and build relationships with customers
- Excellent listening skills and attention to detail
- Experience in networking and cold calling
