Inspector - Track Maintenance Specialist

Job Summary:
Amentum is seeking a highly skilled Track Vehicle Inspector to join our team. As a Track Vehicle Inspector, you will be responsible for conducting inspections and maintenance on various track vehicles, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of track vehicles to identify any defects or issues
- Perform maintenance and repairs on track vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition
- Ensure all maintenance and repair work is done in accordance with established standards and procedures
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless maintenance and repair operations
- Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure high-quality maintenance and repair work
- Provide technical guidance and support to maintenance personnel
- Stay up-to-date with the latest maintenance and repair techniques and technologies
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 5 years of experience in track vehicle maintenance and inspection
- Strong knowledge of track vehicle systems and components
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver's license and ability to operate a government vehicle
- Ability to meet and maintain all base access security requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
- Army 91H or equivalent military experience
- Full or partial Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification or European equivalent
