Inspector - Track Maintenance Specialist

Amentum is seeking a highly skilled Track Vehicle Inspector to join our team. As a Track Vehicle Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our track vehicles, conducting inspections, and performing maintenance and repairs.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough inspections of track vehicles to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Perform maintenance and repairs on track vehicles, including troubleshooting and diagnosing issues.
- Ensure all maintenance and repair work is documented and recorded accurately.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless operations and high-quality results.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technical manuals and procedures for track vehicle maintenance and repair.
- Develop and implement quality control processes to ensure high-quality results.
- Provide guidance and training to junior team members on track vehicle maintenance and repair procedures.
- Ensure all work is performed in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in track vehicle maintenance and repair, with a focus on quality and safety.
- Strong knowledge of technical manuals and procedures for track vehicle maintenance and repair.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and data tables.
- Valid driver's license and ability to operate a government general-purpose vehicle.
- Ability to meet and maintain all base access security requirements.
- Ability to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization.
- US Citizenship required for facility credentials/authorization.
- Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.
- Army 91H or equivalent military experience.
- Full or partial Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification or European equivalent.
