IT Application Manager Engineering Position

Quest One is a global leader in PEM electrolysis. Our company aims to make a significant impact in reducing greenhouse gases with our electrolyzers. We are looking for an IT Application Manager Engineering professional to join our cross-functional team.




  2. Implement and manage PLM and CAD Applications required in engineering functions of our company.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements for an optimized configuration and setup of Software Applications.
  4. Perform application configuration and regression testing to ensure high-quality and reliable applications.
  5. Support end-users by providing technical assistance, troubleshooting issues, and offering timely resolutions.
  6. Collaborate with Software Application vendors and external service providers to ensure best possible user experience.
  7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, evaluating their potential for application within our organization.
  8. Support in RfPs and evaluation processes for new applications.
  9. Conduct system analysis and recommend improvements to enhance the performance and functionality of existing Software Applications.
  10. Lead IT projects aimed at fulfilling our internal customer needs.
  11. Align with other IT and business roles such as Enterprise Architecture, IT Governance, and Business Building Office on prerequisites and boundary conditions for projects.


Requirements


  • Graduated in business informatics or comparable studies.
  • Strong experience in PLM/CAD Application Management.
  • Familiar with Software Application Management methodologies and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solver and strong analytical abilities.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
  • Sociability and ability to work in a team, confident and friendly demeanor, flexibility, and strong commitment and willingness to perform.
  • Fluent in written and spoken German and English.
