Job Title: IT Application Engineering Manager
  • The IT Application Engineering Manager will be responsible for implementing and managing PLM and CAD Applications required in engineering functions of the company.
  • The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements for an optimized configuration and setup of Software Applications.
  • The IT Application Engineering Manager will perform application configuration and regression testing to ensure high-quality and reliable applications.
  • The position also involves providing technical assistance, troubleshooting issues, and offering timely resolutions to end-users.
  • The IT Application Engineering Manager will collaborate with Software Application vendors and external service providers to ensure best possible user experience.
  • The successful candidate will stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, evaluating their potential for application within the organization.
  • The position also involves supporting in RfPs and evaluation processes for new applications.
  • The IT Application Engineering Manager will conduct system analysis and recommend improvements to enhance the performance and functionality of existing Software Applications.
  • The position also involves leading IT projects aimed at fulfilling the internal customer's needs.
  • The successful candidate will align with other IT and business roles such as Enterprise Architecture, IT Governance and Business Building Office on prerequisites and boundary conditions for projects.
Requirements:
  • Graduated in business informatics or comparable studies.
  • Strong experience in PLM/CAD Application Management.
  • Familiar with Software Application Management methodologies and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and strong analytical abilities.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
  • Sociability and ability to work in a team, a confident and friendly demeanor, flexibility as well as strong commitment and willingness to perform.
  • Fluent in written and spoken German and English.
