Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced IT Application Manager to join our team. As a Global System Owner and System Administrator, you will be responsible for managing multiple applications, leading the evaluation of new applications and upgrades, and ensuring the applications perform as expected by the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as Global System Owner and System Administrator for multiple applications
  • Lead the evaluation of new applications and upgrades, working with service providers, site IT departments, and business key users
  • Ensure the application performs as expected by the business, providing support and troubleshooting, and deploying enhancements
  • Manage and follow up on outsourced support
  • Establish training programs as necessary for key-users
  • Ensure the qualification and validation activities for global GxP applications
  • Act as a single point of contact for suppliers and key users of the applications
  • Ensure security and privacy requirements are respected, working with global IT security, service providers, and local IT departments

Requirements

  • Degree in IT, technical, or technical field with skills and experience in managing IT
  • Advanced experience with various IT applications in an industry (such as Open Lab ECM, Salesforce, Tagetik, Evisort, Interflex)
  • Experience in networking is a plus
  • Experience in leading IT projects and project team members
  • Several years of relevant experience
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including qualification and validation activities, is considered a plus
  • Self-starter, goal-oriented, able to work to deadlines, and motivate
  • High level of commitment and willingness to perform
