Job Title: Safety Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance on safety regulations to employees, supervisors, and works council to ensure a safe working environment.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to ensure compliance with legal requirements and report any issues.
- Collaborate with the team to design work spaces and processes that prioritize employee safety and well-being.
- Develop strategies to influence employee behavior and promote a culture of safety within the organization.
- Record and investigate incidents, and compile statistics to identify areas for improvement.
- Participate in selecting and implementing personal protective equipment to ensure employee safety.
- Handle negotiations and correspondence with authorities and insurance organizations in case of accidents and occupational diseases.
Requirements:
- Completed technical training or equivalent in occupational health and safety.
- Certified occupational safety specialist with a strong understanding of safety regulations and protocols.
- Relevant work experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of promoting a safe working environment.
- Proficient in MS Office and other relevant software applications.
- Fluency in German, with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- High level of responsibility and a strong commitment to promoting a culture of safety within the organization.
