Financial Analyst Intern

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Working Student in Finance to join our team at Corpay. As a key member of our Finance division, you will be responsible for analyzing and building effective business processes and internal controls with a focus on value creation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement financial planning and reporting processes to support business decisions.
- Work closely with our external accounting partner to ensure high-quality financial data.
- Participate in financial development processes to further develop our operations.
- Analyze and build effective business processes and internal controls with a focus on value creation.
- Build dynamic cost analysis and provide insightful reports to Department Directors.
- Cost tracking vs budget and simulate forecast to respect corporate guidelines.
- Transform financial statements from Local GAAP to US GAAP and succeed with the month closing.
- Prepare monthly reporting to top management about financial results.
Requirements
- Registered student with advanced studies in business administration, accounting, and finance or business and information technology.
- Fluent in German and English.
- Result-oriented approach and strong analytical skills.
- Strong accounting knowledge, including German GAAP, IFRS, or US GAAP.
- Advanced user of Excel and other MS Office tools.
- Strong tolerance to uncertainty and adaptation to quickly changing work environment.
- High performer with a strong academic track record.
