Financial Analyst Intern

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Working Student to join our Finance team at Corpay. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing financial planning and reporting support to our business leaders.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze and build effective business processes and internal controls with a focus on value creation.
- Build dynamic cost analysis and provide insightful reports to Department Directors on how to spend smarter.
- Track costs versus budget and simulate forecasts to respect corporate guidelines.
- Work closely with our external accounting partner to ensure high-quality monthly financial information.
- Transform financial statements from Local GAAP to US GAAP and succeed with the month-end closing.
- Prepare monthly reporting to top management on financial results.
- You are a registered student with advanced studies in business administration, accounting, and finance or business and information technology.
- You speak German and English fluently.
- You have a result-oriented approach and do what it takes to get the job done.
- You have strong analytical skills and a can-do attitude with attention to details.
- You have basic accounting (German GAAP) knowledge; IFRS or US GAAP knowledge is a plus.
- You are an advanced user of Excel (PivotTables, INDEX-MATCH, macros' knowledge is a plus) and other MS Office tools.
- You have a strong tolerance to uncertainty and adaptation to quickly changing work environments.
- You are a high performer with a strong academic track record.
- Experience in using ERP's and other analytics tools is a plus.
- Internship or working experience is a plus.
- You are hungry to learn and a self-directed learner.
