About the Job:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to lead our design team in Hamburg. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating high-complexity category programs, providing input and support to Chief Engineers, and managing workload and resources across multiple programs.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Plan and coordinate design activities to ensure on-time delivery
  • Provide input and support to Chief Engineers
  • Lead and develop the design team
  • Manage workload and resources across multiple programs
  • Participate in technical audits
  • Develop tools, processes, and methods for delivery of design deliverables
  • Report and forecast status, updating KPIs
Requirements:
  • Completed studies in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or comparable
  • Significant professional experience in aerospace industry, structural engineering, or mechanical engineering
  • Good knowledge in leadership through a full program lifecycle
  • Highly proficient in CATIA and PLM
  • Experienced in planning and scheduling design activities across multiple design modules
