Senior Mechanical Design Engineer (m/f/d)

At Orizon GmbH, Unit Aviation, we offer a unique opportunity for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team in Hamburg. As a key member of our Aviation unit, you will be responsible for leading and developing a team of engineers to deliver high-complexity category programs.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Plan and coordinate design activities to ensure on-time delivery
  • Provide input and support to Chief Engineers
  • Lead and develop the team to achieve project goals
  • Manage workload and resources across multiple programs
  • Participate in Technical Audits
  • Develop tools, processes, and methods for delivery of design deliverables
  • Report and forecast status, updating KPIs
Your Profile:
  • Completed studies in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or comparable
  • Significant professional experience in aerospace industry, structural engineering, or mechanical engineering
  • Good knowledge in leadership through a full program lifecycle
  • Highly proficient in CATIA and PLM
  • Experienced in planning and scheduling design activities across multiple design modules
