Founders' Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Founders' Associate to join our team at Merantix. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in driving key projects and supporting the growth of our company.
Your responsibilities will cover a wide range of operational, financial, and strategic tasks that contribute to enhancing business efficiency and success. You will work closely with our founders to support daily operations and long-term strategic initiatives, take ownership of strategic projects, and collaborate with our leadership team to assist in decision-making processes.
You will also conduct market and competitive analysis to inform and shape our B2B strategy, engage directly with potential clients and partners, and monitor and optimize financial performance by developing budgets, tracking expenses, and identifying opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth.
As a Founders' Associate, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, based at the Merantix AI Campus in Berlin. You will be part of a thriving ecosystem of AI startups and experts, with frequent events and opportunities for cross-company collaboration.
Key Responsibilities- Support daily operations and long-term strategic initiatives
- Take ownership of strategic projects
- Collaborate with leadership team to assist in decision-making processes
- Conduct market and competitive analysis
- Monitor and optimize financial performance
- First experience as a generalist in a fast-paced environment
- Sound financial skills, including ability to analyze financial statements and manage budgets
- Approaching completion of degree or recent graduate from university
- High analytical and conceptual thinking skills
- Interest or experience in sustainability, ESG consulting, or related fields
- Strong affinity for technology and AI
- Fluency in English and another major European language
