About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Engineer to join our team at Digital Realty. As a key member of our data center operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the technical availability of our critical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical leadership and oversight of data center infrastructure maintenance and repairs
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations and high availability
  • Development and implementation of technical strategies to improve data center efficiency and reliability
  • Expertise in large-scale electrotechnical systems, mechanical/cooling/climate control systems, and building technology operations
  • Proficient in technical maintenance and installations processes
Requirements
  • Completed professional qualification (Master certificate or comparable) as Electrical engineer, equipment technician, or mechanical engineer
  • Official switching authorization for Low, Medium, High Voltage systems
  • Minimum 5 years practical experience in an electro technical or industrial/mechanical environment
  • Fluent in German and English
