Mauser Packaging Solutions, a leading packaging solutions provider, is seeking a highly motivated Freight and Export Control Specialist to join our team.

About the Role

This exciting opportunity allows you to leverage your expertise in international logistics and export control to drive strategic growth for our company. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies for ocean freight services, negotiating contracts with carriers and freight forwarders, and ensuring compliance with international shipping regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize costs and ensure high service quality
  • Negotiate contracts and rates with ocean carriers and freight forwarders to secure favorable terms
  • Manage supplier relationships to maintain strong partnerships and ensure cost efficiency and high service levels
  • Monitor market trends and adapt procurement strategies to reflect changes in the global market
  • Collaborate with internal teams to forecast demand and plan shipments effectively
  • Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and internal company policies
  • Analyze and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to ocean freight procurement
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in international logistics, export control, and supply chain areas
  • Proven project management skills with an international scope
  • Excellent knowledge of foreign trade and customs law
  • Strong analytical thinking and process-oriented approach
  • Ability to empower others to achieve results through motivation, recognition, and performance feedback
  • Fluent English language skills

The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately $115,000-$140,000, based on industry standards and the level of experience required.
