Senior Manager, Congress Planning Lead

For our Business Excellence and Operations department, we are seeking a Senior Manager, Congress Planning to lead the logistical planning and execution of Above Market congresses.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience in commercial roles in the pharmaceutical/biotech/medical device industry, with 3-5 years of relevant experience in planning and execution of congresses.

The Senior Manager, Congress Planning will be responsible for managing multiple events or congresses at one time, negotiating convention exhibit space, contracts, hotel rooms, hospitality functions, and show services.

They will also be responsible for driving delivery of superior performance in congress production, including integrated project plan, timeline, budget, and exhibit booth and supporting teams in content re-use.

The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal skills to quickly build rapport and credibility with CSL leaders and key external stakeholders.

They will also have knowledge of relevant business, legal, compliance, and regulatory requirements, as well as excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building abilities.

Travel requirement is 25-35% and includes international travel.
