About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Fleet Operations Manager to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe, compliant, and cost-effective operation of our fleet in Germany.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in logistics and operations, with experience in managing fleets and teams. You will be responsible for executing our fleet strategy, leveraging best practices, and collaborating with multiple stakeholders to solve operational needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate the health and safety of our fleet, ensuring vehicles are roadworthy and compliant with local regulations.
  • Support product and program launches in Germany, requiring strong operational knowledge and understanding of local market conditions.
  • Tactically collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to solve operational needs, demonstrating negotiation and influence skills.
  • Manage the availability of vehicles in Germany, balancing tradeoffs between cost, quality, and speed.

Requirements
  • High proficiency in English and German.
  • Experience in logistics or operations.
  • Experience influencing and interacting with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to travel across Germany 20-30% of the time.
