Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Test Engineer to join our team at Volocopter GmbH. As a key member of our Laboratory Testing department, you will be responsible for designing and conducting various tests on the aircraft's structures and components to ensure they meet safety and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, design, and execute structural tests to validate the performance and safety of aerospace components and systems
  • Develop test plans, procedures, and protocols for both static and dynamic structural tests, ensuring they align with project objectives and industry standards
  • Identify and document test results and deviations, and develop recommendations for improvements and refinements
  • Set up, configure, and validate test equipment before each test execution
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or a related field, with a focus on aerospace engineering
  • 5+ years of experience in systems test benches or laboratories, with a focus on aircraft systems
  • 3+ years of experience in requirements engineering
  • Familiarity with CAD tools such as NX
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
