About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Energy Portfolio Manager to join our team at E Energy Markets GmbH. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for delivering in-depth analysis of the price and fundamental development of the global commodity markets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Market Analysis: Provide insights on future movements of price levels and spreads in the European commodity markets.
  • Portfolio Management: Lead initiatives to build and mature a large, international energy customer portfolio as part of E Energy Markets GmbH.
  • Strategic Decision Making: Analyze energy market data to identify high-level trading opportunities, including managing E Energy Markets GmbH's group portfolio (>200 TWh power & gas) through strategic hedging decisions and open position management in forward markets with a focus on long- and midterm portfolio strategies.
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge in Python is a plus.
  • Communication: Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English, another European language is seen as a plus.
