We're on a mission to revolutionize the food industry, and we need an experienced Accounting Transformation Manager to join our team at Planet A Foods GmbH in Planegg. This is a full-time, permanent position within our Finance & Legal department, reporting directly to Stefan Rost, CFO.

About the Role

This exciting opportunity involves taking our accounting processes to the next level by transitioning to an ERP system, implementing financial consolidation, and preparing for annual audits. You will be responsible for executing bookkeeping for our group companies, supported by a back office team. Additionally, you will deliver monthly and annual closing of financial statements and relevant data for reporting and planning purposes.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Drive the implementation of our new ERP system and oversee the transition of our accounting processes
  • Ensure seamless execution of bookkeeping for our group companies, leveraging support from our back office team as needed
  • Deliver accurate and timely monthly and annual closing of financial statements and relevant data for strategic decision-making
  • Oversee payments and collections of receivables, ensuring efficient cash flow management
Your Ideal Profile

To succeed in this role, you will possess a degree in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting and Financial Management, coupled with at least 5 years of experience in a fast-growing business where you have built and refined accounting processes. Your expertise should include strong knowledge of German GAAP (HGB) and IFRS, as well as experience working with ERP systems, preferably Spendesk. As a leader, you should be comfortable managing a team and fostering collaboration.
