The Stock Controller plays a crucial role in managing store operations efficiently and effectively at YSL Germany GmbH. Reporting directly to the Store Director, this position contributes to increasing store turnover through seamless processes of stock control in compliance with legal, safety, and internal requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Support with administrative and operational procedures related to merchandise flow, including preparation, dispatch, and receipt of orders, processing, deadlines, and invoicing.
- Prepare, pack, and ship merchandise to outlets and warehouse, handling different types of transfers.
- Assure a smooth rollout of price changes and shipments to outlet, ensuring an excellent customer experience throughout the process.
- Follow-up and control of monthly inventories, implementing specific action plans to avoid discrepancies.
- Prepare and execute the annual inventory, managing negative stock levels and implementing corrective actions.
- Identify consistent stock levels to achieve sales targets, ensuring a proper back-of-house organization according to guidelines.
- Manage emergency situations, such as late deliveries, supply shortages, and order errors.
- Act as responsible for deploying omnichannel services, including distance selling.
- Provide overall support, acting as a primary point of contact and supervisor for stores regarding After Sales and Before Sales processes.
- Adhere to all Company Policies and follow all Company Operational Procedures.
- Participate in maintaining a positive work environment and promoting the culture of the brand internally and externally.
Requirements
- In-depth knowledge of retail environment and fundamental experience in stock handling (3-5 years).
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Team player with strong and transparent communication skills.
- Adaptable and flexible with changing circumstances.
- Ability to prioritize the execution of all tasks based on business needs.
- Strong solutions-over-problems mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Mastering IT tools.
- Good English skills as well as local language (both oral and written).
