A Career Opportunity in Medical InformationWe are seeking a highly skilled Multilingual Medical Information Specialist to join our team. As part of our Medical Information Department, you will be responsible for providing top-notch medical information services via phone and email after comprehensive training on designated clients/products. Proficiency in both German and English is required, with a C1 level in both languages. This role offers full-time employment on a fully remote basis.

Whether it's adverse event intake and follow-up, medical writing, content management solutions, promotional review, or extended medical information services, our team of medical information specialists possess the knowledge and experience to effectively support your requirements.
The Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- You will answer technical questions received by phone, letter, email, and fax regarding designated products in an accurate, confident, and professional manner.
- You must comply with the specific Working Practices agreed upon with clients.
- Recognize adverse events and defective product reports and handle and report these strictly in accordance with ProPharma SOPs and WPs.
- Translate English documents into the target language or vice versa, delivering translated responses either on the phone or in writing and quality checking them.
- Use existing standard responses to prepare medical information correspondence (via client databases) or take responsibility for liaising with the Medical Information Support Services (MISS) department to request the generation of medical information correspondence.
- You are required to log all enquiries in an accurate, comprehensive, and timely fashion.
- Manage confidential information in line with Data Privacy regulations.
- Maintain awareness of, and ensure compliance with, the legal requirements and professional guidelines associated with the provision of medical information on behalf of the Pharmaceutical Industry.
- Perform quality checks on Adverse Events, Product Quality Complaints, correspondence to ensure accuracy in all areas of the job.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A completed Pharmacy or life science degree.
- Mother tongue/C1 level in the target language and fluency in English.
- Strong translation skills.
- Excellent phone manner.
- Ability to manage a busy workload and prioritize.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work unsupervised.

This role offers a competitive salary, estimated around $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on location and qualifications.
