Global Healthcare Claims Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a talented Global Healthcare Claims Specialist to join our close-knit team at Medigo GmbH. As a key member, you will be responsible for handling international medical insurance claims while providing exceptional support to our members undergoing medical treatment.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with insurance partners and their members to address questions and requests, ensuring a positive experience for patients before, during, and after treatment.
- Maintain close relationships with medical facilities and doctors to clarify treatment plans and costs, as well as proactively request medical information on behalf of the insurer.
- Review and verify invoices for potential errors before entering them into our claims management software for settlement.
- Handle incoming requests via phone and/or email, categorizing and redirecting them to the right team member when necessary.
- Develop expertise in handling diverse cases from various partners, with the ability to cover for colleagues when needed.
- Work closely with our Medical Team to create well-informed evaluations of medical claims and build your own medical knowledge.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in customer-facing roles, preferably in the insurance or healthcare industry.
- Fluency in English and Arabic, with other languages a plus, especially German.
- A professional and empathetic communicator, with excellent listening skills and the ability to lead conversations with various stakeholders.
- A strong work ethic, with persistence in following up to gather necessary information.
- Structured, analytical, and comfortable making decisions under ambiguity.
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to diligence in work.
- A team player, comfortable asking for help and offering support when needed.
- A valid work permit for work in Germany.
