Product Manager, Digital Cockpit Strategist

This is a key position within HARMAN International's Intelligent Cockpit Business Unit, responsible for defining the future product portfolio and driving growth through targeted technology deployment.
Key Responsibilities- Lead go-to-market activities for a specific set of Intelligent Cockpit products, ensuring all relevant unique selling points (USPs) are highlighted.
- Act as the voice of the customer for the product management and development teams, providing expert product knowledge and market insights.
- Support the Sales teams with product knowledge for early-stage customer engagement and develop customer strategies in the respective product areas.
- Conduct market research and analysis to understand how USPs resonate with consumers and assess target prices for all respective products.
- Develop a customer landscape outlining the customer strategies in the respective product areas to determine where the real potential exists.
- Prepare portfolio overview presentation material for internal and external consumption, including market and competitive intelligence gathering and data analysis.
- Formulate product ideas based on market research, target customer data, and technology roadmaps, and document and present product-based opportunities for evaluation by senior leadership.
- University degree in Engineering or Business.
- 5+ years of professional experience in direct automotive electronics OEM Sales or Project Management.
- Experience with hardware products, software products, and SaaS.
- Working knowledge of hardware and software concepts, cockpit electronics, and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).
- Working knowledge of financial analysis and technical project management or engineering experience.
- Strong skills in communication, presentation, and problem-solving (customer and internal).
- MBA with a technical undergraduate degree.
- Experience in product portfolio development and/or management.
- Experience with product pricing models, including software licensing.
- Creative problem-solving coupled with a can-do attitude.
- Automotive Cockpit domain expertise and Automotive Connected Services experience.
