About the Role
The Digital Supply Chain Manager for Procurement Applications will oversee and deliver top-tier services across a complex landscape of Supply Chain systems at the corporate level. As a member of the Global Digital Supply Chain team, you will be responsible for managing, administering, supporting, evaluating, designing, and deploying Supply Chain platforms, processes, and systems, utilizing both internal and outsourced resources.
This role will lead and support global, regional, and local projects and system deployments related to Procurement and Compliance.
You will serve as the primary contact and be accountable for the performance indicators, operations, growth, standardization, stabilization, innovation, expansion, and consolidation of Procurement Digital applications. This position can be based in various locations.
This role significantly influences the entire HARMAN Supply Chain Procurement and Compliance processes and systems across all divisions, engaging with various organizational levels, including global and regional Business Process Owners (BPO) for procurement and compliance.
Your Team
This position includes direct reports dedicated to Digital Supply Chain Networks in multiple regions. The Manager of Digital Supply Chain Procurement and Compliance will supervise and manage a group of service providers, contractors, and project managers engaged in Digital and Business-related projects, incidents, or service requests. You will report to a Digital Supply Chain Director or a regional Senior Manager within the team.
What You Will Do
Take responsibility for managing, identifying, and administering new or existing Global Digital Supply Chain platforms, systems, and process implementations or enhancements. Collaborate with all management levels and staff to provide strategic and tactical guidance related to Digital Supply Chain platforms, systems, and processes. Establish strong relationships and service delivery reporting to regional supply chain stakeholders. Lead the analysis of current business needs to anticipate and provide solutions for applicable business challenges and requirements, focusing on the current SAP Landscape (SAP Purchasing, SAP Ariba, SAP SBN, etc.). Effectively define, support, and manage the resource structure. Work with Digital, business, and external teams to allocate resources, resolve issues, manage projects, and address service requests related to Digital Supply Chain Systems and Services. Create and maintain Global Supply Chain standards and be responsible for writing functional and technical specifications and requirements. Simultaneously manage multiple complex global technology-centric projects, ensuring adherence to schedule, cost, and quality. Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Supply Chain Networks, conducting periodic knowledge-sharing sessions with key users and business SMEs, and collaborating with Digital teams to develop training materials and process documentation. Provide level 3 support globally and regionally, following established methodologies during system development and ensuring compliance with HARMAN ERP/ECC standards and procedures. Maintain all system-related documentation.What You Need
Strong leadership, change orientation, collaboration, and customer service skills. Bachelor's or master's degree in Computers, Information Technology, or a related field. A global perspective with the ability to work effectively in a culturally diverse organization. Significant industry experience in Automotive, Electronic Consumer Products, or High Technology sectors. Proven experience managing customer-facing strategic projects and Application Development projects. Demonstrated ability to manage key stakeholder interests while balancing conflicting priorities and business interests. Over 10 years of increasing responsibilities within a global, multicultural, multi-location organization. Extensive knowledge of SAP Ariba, SAP S4/Hana central procurement, SAP SRM-MM, SAP GTS, and SAP Vertex. Knowledge of SAP PP, EDI ABAP, or general transportation and trade compliance systems is a plus. 8+ years of experience managing vendor and contractor teams. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to a dynamic project environment and manage multiple projects. Strong communication skills and interpersonal abilities, with effective conflict resolution and negotiation skills.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience and certification in SAP/4 Hana central procurement. Experience and certification in Ariba cloud implementation. Experience in global transportation management and trade compliance systems. General knowledge of Business Intelligence and Analytics. Project management certifications (PMO, Agile, Scrum). Formal training or certifications in problem-solving methodologies.What Makes You Eligible
