In this position, you will spearhead the development of new automotive software products that effectively fill market needs within our Intelligent Cockpit Platforms portfolio. You will oversee both the immediate and long-term strategies to ensure the success and profitability of HARMAN's Intelligent Cockpit offerings.
Key Responsibilities
We are seeking a pivotal contributor who will make a significant impact in the following areas:
Collaborating with clients, partners, and HARMAN's internal product teams to advance your product line. Implementing the business strategy and product roadmap as part of a comprehensive multi-year plan. Crafting market-leading products that set us apart from competitors and enhance our market share and profitability. Executing global go-to-market strategies throughout the entire customer journey. Conducting market research and evaluating competitive positioning by analyzing HARMAN's offerings against those of competitors. Developing frameworks for build vs. buy vs. partner decisions where applicable. Coordinating with cross-functional teams to align objectives and priorities, encompassing both customer-facing and operational aspects. Engaging with key internal stakeholders, including Sales, Marketing, Global Support, and Customer Success, as well as dependencies in Finance, HR, and Legal.Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or Computer Science. At least four (4) years of experience in product management, with a minimum of two years as a Senior Product Manager in automotive software. Familiarity with global Cockpit and ADAS market trends and technologies. A passionate product advocate with a strong commitment to creating impactful products. Proven experience in developing compelling product propositions based on market demands, customer segments, and technical viability, aligned with a product strategy. Ability to lead and manage across diverse cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Global Support, and Customer Success. A successful track record of launching technology products at scale across various global markets. Capability to empower and guide a multi-functional team in addressing complex System/HW/SW integration challenges. Excellent communication skills, including the ability to engage senior management on strategic initiatives and project updates. Proficiency in English.Preferred Qualifications
An MBA. Proficiency in German. Understanding of requirement engineering and the design, implementation, and documentation of software components using modern development methodologies.What We Offer
