We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director to lead our Portfolio Strategy and Performance Management team at Fresenius Kabi. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for defining and implementing our portfolio strategy, driving business growth, and ensuring the success of our products in the European and US markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Portfolio Strategy Management:
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive portfolio strategy that aligns with our business objectives and market trends.
    • Monitor competitor activities and market dynamics to identify opportunities and threats.
    • Conduct portfolio gap analysis to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address them.
    • Coordinate and lead product portfolio optimization initiatives to ensure alignment with our business strategy.
    • Develop and manage business cases for new product launches and product portfolio optimization initiatives.
  • Performance Management:
    • Track and analyze product performance data to identify areas for improvement.
    • Conduct critical analysis of plan vs. actual deviations and develop strategies to address them.
    • Track business case evolutions through the planning cycles and conduct post-launch evaluations.
    • Develop and maintain high-quality data for analysis and contribute to data quality improvement initiatives.
  • Leadership and Collaboration:
    • Lead and manage a team of professionals to achieve business objectives.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective implementation of portfolio strategy.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with regional and business unit contacts to ensure effective communication and collaboration.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in portfolio management, product management, or project management in the clinical nutrition, FMCG, or pharmaceutical industries.
  • University degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Health Sciences, Mathematics, or Statistics (MBA degree a plus).
  • Excellent skills in data analytics, statistics, and structuring complex topics.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills through all levels of hierarchy.
  • Ability to moderate decision-making through all levels of hierarchy via scenario building.
  • Experience in developing financial plans and working with financial data for business plan development.
  • Expertise in market and competitor insights analysis.
  • Very good skills regarding MS Office, Power BI, and Thinkcell.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English, additional languages a plus.
