Senior Accounting Specialist

DKV Mobility Group SE is seeking a highly skilled Expert Accounting Principles to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure the implementation of uniform accounting standards and valuation principles across the group, including proactive guidance for central and decentralized accounting departments.
- Develop and maintain the Group Accounting Manual IFRS, ensuring compliance with current regulatory requirements and translating complex accounting issues into practical solutions.
- Provide expert guidance on consolidated financial statements, accounting standards, and group accounting principles.
- Become the central point of contact for questions related to group accounting, consolidated financial statements, and accounting standards.
- Support the preparation of first-time and subsequent consolidations of newly acquired group companies, including their integration into the group's reporting process.
- Collaborate closely with external auditors, consultants, and internal departments to ensure the highest level of financial reporting quality.
- Develop and implement content for financial reporting components, as well as lead independent project work and task assignments.
- Master's degree in business administration, economics, or a related field with relevant specializations.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a production or service company.
- Desirable experience in a Big Four audit firm or consulting firm.
- Strong analytical and structured approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Fluent German language skills, with excellent written and spoken English skills.
