Accounting Specialist

Position Overview
As an integral part of our finance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with uniform accounting standards and valuation regulations within the group according to IFRS.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and enhancement of the Group Accounting Manual in line with current legal requirements.
- Evaluate complex accounting issues, identify necessary adjustments, and assist in their implementation both in content and system.
- Serve as the primary contact for inquiries related to consolidated financial statements, IFRS chart of accounts, and consolidation processes.
- Assist in the allocation of purchase prices according to IFRS 3 and prepare for the initial and subsequent consolidation of newly acquired group companies, ensuring their integration into the group reporting process.
- Contribute to the preparation of reporting sections of the consolidated financial statements and engage in project work or manage sub-projects.
Qualifications
- A completed Master's degree in Business Administration or a comparable qualification.
- Initial experience in the aforementioned areas, preferably from an auditing firm or a production/service company, ideally with a background in IFRS and group accounting.
- A strong analytical mindset and structured approach to tasks.
- Excellent communication skills, a collaborative spirit, and a proactive, independent work style.
- Proficient in English, both written and spoken, is essential.
