Position Overview

SUMMARY:

Valiant Integrated Services is seeking a Temporary Full-Time skilled Supply Chain Specialist to become a vital member of our dedicated team. This role will provide essential support to our operational programs, ensuring efficient logistics management and customer service within our facilities. The successful candidate will serve as a primary point of contact for logistics activities, performing a variety of administrative and warehouse functions while assisting in the deployment of simulation systems and other assigned responsibilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Establish and maintain facilities while conducting quality assurance assessments to facilitate military training.
  • Manage schedules for facilities and equipment.
  • Participate in planning and preparation meetings for exercises or events.
  • Generate regular reports on facilities and equipment for contractual and governmental purposes.
  • Oversee the issuance and receipt of facilities and equipment.
  • Conduct regular property inventories in compliance with established policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities for equipment.
  • Maintain precise records and profiles of equipment inventory.
  • Ensure adherence to security protocols.
  • Prepare equipment for shipment as required.
  • Travel to various locations for inventory and inspection purposes.
  • Attend mandatory training and certification sessions.
  • Obtain necessary equipment licenses as required.
  • Manage the receipt and distribution of packages from delivery services.
  • Perform general clerical tasks, including copying, faxing, mailing, and filing.
  • Represent the company professionally in all interactions.
  • Engage professionally with clients, customers, vendors, and visitors.
  • Assist in maintaining an office calendar to coordinate workflow and meetings.
  • Undertake additional duties as assigned by the Technical Logistics Lead or Program Manager.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • This position does not qualify for Technical Expert Status Accreditation (TESA) or Ordinary Resident (OR).
  • Applicants must be SOFA Dependents.
  • Strong reading, writing, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with organizational principles, planning, records management, and general administration.
  • Proficient in operating standard office equipment, including computers and communication systems.
  • Competence in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions.
  • Capability to work independently or collaboratively as part of a team.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in property management and customer service.
  • Practical experience in relevant areas as outlined in the Performance Work Statement.
  • Familiarity with military command post exercises.
  • Knowledge of AR 735-5 procedures and Property Book Unit Supply.
  • General understanding of military administrative processes.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

An Associate's degree with three years of relevant experience or five years of relevant experience.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance and meet other eligibility criteria for access to classified information.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

The position is primarily office-based, with occasional outdoor work. There may be exposure to various natural conditions at different locations.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday (subject to mission requirements).

Work Hours: Variable based on mission needs.

Overtime: As required.

Travel: As required.
