About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Strategy Specialist to join our team at Deutsche Börse AG. As a key member of our Business Strategy and M&A team, you will play a crucial role in developing the strategy for our data business further.

Key Responsibilities
  • Co-lead strategic projects and key initiatives with long-term relevance for Deutsche Börse's data business, including inorganic and organic growth opportunities.
  • Perform independent market and competitor research on Deutsche Börse's data business to gain insights on major business and innovation trends.
  • Support the data business area with strategic and financial analysis as part of business case development, budget planning and forecasting.
  • Prepare decision proposals, research summaries, financial analysis, and status reports for ongoing initiatives for senior management.
Requirements
  • You have completed your university degree in economics, finance, or a similar degree in a relevant field of expertise with excellent results.
  • You have at least 2 years of relevant professional experience in business strategy, corporate development, or in-house consulting, preferably within the financial services industry.
  • Excellent conduct of MS Office applications, specifically PowerPoint and Excel, and knowledge of financial modeling is beneficial.
  • You are a strong and committed team player willing to cooperate with multiple colleagues across office locations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with a structured approach to problem-solving and attention to detail round off your profile.
