About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Group ESG Strategy Specialist to join our team at Deutsche Börse Group. As a key member of our CEO Division, you will play a crucial role in developing and managing our sustainable strategy.

Your Responsibilities
  • Identify and evaluate ESG trends and regulatory requirements to inform our sustainability strategy.
  • Implement and enhance our sustainability strategy and climate strategy in line with our ESG framework.
  • Monitor and report on ESG activities and performance, including climate strategy-related KPIs and reduction measures.
  • Develop and optimize material ESG processes, including materiality analysis and value chain management.
  • Prepare ESG reporting for executive management decision-making and board presentations.
  • Continuously improve processes and identify opportunities related to sustainability matters.
  • Coordinate ESG ratings relevant for Deutsche Börse's executive remuneration.
Your Profile
  • University degree in Business Administration, Sustainability Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in sustainability, strategic management consulting, auditing, or the financial sector.
  • Experience in sustainability strategy development and implementation, carbon management, corporate due diligence, and ESG reporting.
  • Strong analytical skills, project management experience, and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team, matrix organization, and multicultural environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of German and English in writing and speaking.
