About the Position

The Charles Hotel is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Procurement Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our purchasing department, you will be responsible for managing daily inventory, coordinating orders, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and inspect daily shipments to ensure accuracy and quality
  • Coordinate with the purchasing manager and department heads to place orders and manage inventory levels
  • Monitor and control warehouse stock levels, including receiving, storing, and issuing goods
  • Ensure a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to health and safety standards
  • Assist in preparing for inventory counts and maintaining accurate records
  • Manage data entry in our warehouse management system, FutureLog
  • Support in comparing bids and calculating prices for procurement
  • Act as a representative for the purchasing manager in their absence
  • Serve as a point of contact for operational departments within the hotel

What We Expect

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • A completed education, preferably in hospitality or a related field
  • Initial experience in warehouse management is desirable
  • A self-motivated and organized approach to work
  • A responsible attitude towards our goods, adhering to all HACCP guidelines

  • Proficiency in German and English, both spoken and written
