Content Licensing Manager (d/w/m)


Are you enthusiastic about content licensing and possess a background in the publishing sector? Join our dynamic team as a Content Licensing Manager and play a pivotal role in shaping our licensing initiatives.

In this position, you will engage with prominent publishing firms, editors, and authors to create innovative concepts for books, calendars, and other media.

As an essential member of the New Business division, you will collaborate closely with the Content Sales & Licensing team as well as the ZEIT EDITIONEN and ZEIT SHOP.

Your responsibilities will include developing the ZEIT Bookstore as a digital commerce platform, assessing partnership opportunities, and overseeing contract discussions.

Additionally, you will research content for impactful projects, devise marketing strategies, and manage their execution across our communication platforms. You will also formulate collaboration packages and present them to publishing partners, manage project budgets, and handle marketing and licensing settlements.

Your Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in the publishing industry
  • Proficient language skills in German
  • Innovative mindset with an eye for design and trends
  • Strong negotiation skills and business insight
  • Excellent organizational abilities and a collaborative spirit
