Test Engineer and Lab Support

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Test Engineer and Lab Support to join our dynamic hardware engineering team. As a member of this team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining test cases using Agile Scrum software development methodologies.
Responsibilities:
- Test software and hardware for ongoing development projects
- Develop and maintain test cases using Agile Scrum software development methodologies
- Perform validation testing and complete root cause analysis of possible failures in components, subsystems, and product-level systems
- Review product and process non-conformance and recommend remedial actions
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Quality Engineering, or related technical field
- 5+ years of experience in design and testing of power electronic devices
- Experience using a Test Case Management System such as TestRail and capturing day-to-day activities in JIRA
- Ability to support product concepts through the evaluation and implementation of new and state-of-the-art technologies
- Ability to use engineering expertise to analyze complex hardware, electronics, software, and fluidics systems
- Experience working with hardware and software in loop test harnesses
- Desire to participate, define, and adhere to best practices for hardware engineering, development testing, and validation
- Experience in developing test plans and procedures to assess adherence to requirements
- Ability to comprehend high-level objectives and translate that to provide technical leadership to a team of quality engineers
- Strong oral and written communication skills for communicating ideas to both managers and other technical leads
- Experience working with external suppliers certifications, test documents, and requirements
- Ability to read technical specifications, engineering drawings, and descriptions as they relate to engineering designs, process flow, manufacturing techniques, and quality standards
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and provide solutions
- Fluent language skills in German and English
- Experience in supporting Linux, Mac, and Windows operating systems
- Knowledge in AWS, Openstack, Docker, and/or Github
- Experience with continuous integration, build management, automated test frameworks, and assessing existing products
