Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced International Sales Manager to join our Airborne Solutions team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, managing existing customer relationships, and driving sales growth in the assigned region.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the assigned region, leveraging your expertise in complex export sales campaigns and international business practices.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
- Work closely with International Business Development, Product Program Management & Finance to implement a successful campaign strategy, driving sales growth and revenue expansion.
- Plan and manage incoming orders in the assigned regions, ensuring timely and accurate reporting on activities and results.
- Conduct market and competition analyses, providing valuable insights for product management to inform targeted product development.
- Support the development of product and marketing concepts, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs.
Requirements
- Completed technical and/or business studies or comparable training.
- Several years of experience in complex export sales campaigns, international business practices, and business-to-business activities.
- Several years of experience in international sales of complex systems, avionics products, and knowledge of military/civil helicopters, mission aircraft, and unmanned aerial systems.
- Experience as a tactical operator for mission systems is advantageous.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, persuasive and conflict resolution skills.
- Business fluent in German and English, with other languages advantageous.
