Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our Reefer Product Excellence team as a Manager (m/f/d). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving the performance and development of new reefer products, providing training and support to regional teams, and contributing to the reefer digital transformation.
Key Responsibilities- Take ownership of Reefer Value Added Services and support the global reefer organization in technical, digital, and quality aspects.
- Develop and implement new reefer products and drive performance and development.
- Provide active support and training to Hapag-Lloyd Regions and Areas for all technical and digital reefer-related topics.
- Contribute to and support the reefer digital transformation.
- Support Global Reefer Strategy with analytics, improvements, and implementation of current and new Reefer Products.
- Oversee commercial and technical reefer processes such as Cold Treatment, Controlled Atmosphere, High Value Pharmaceuticals, and reefer-related service agreements.
- Attend and assist reefer sales teams and customers in trade fairs with reefer product expertise.
- Participate in customer meetings to support the sales organization with reefer product expertise.
- Report to the Reefer Product Excellence team lead.
- You believe that international teamwork and team spirit drive success, hence we expect you to be motivated, enthusiastic, authentic, self-driven, and a reliable team player.
- You share the customer-centric, commercial mindset and are willing to achieve ambitious targets. You are used to stepping outside the comfort zone and driving product development or performance.

- Completed apprenticeship as liner shipping professional or similar qualification along with a minimum of 4-5 years on-the-job experience is needed in this role. Bachelor's degree would be beneficial.
- Comprehensive knowledge of MS-Office applications, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
- Reefer technical and digital knowledge or the willingness and attitude to learn and share your expertise is necessary.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Hapag-Lloyd applications (QlikView, HIP, FIS) or at least a high willingness and attitude to learn the handling of the tools. With that knowledge, you will discover the Hapag-Lloyd reefer world.
- Willingness to travel.
- Very good command of written and spoken English, Spanish would be beneficial.
