Global Product Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated Global Product Manager to join our team at TER Chemicals. As a key member of our product management team, you will play a crucial role in identifying, developing, and managing relationships with suppliers for our HQ and European subsidiaries.
Your Responsibilities:- Manage supplier relationships, including contract negotiation, demand planning, purchasing, performance monitoring, conflict resolution, and continuous analysis of business development.
- Conduct market research and analysis to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activity, and new product developments.
- Evaluate potential suppliers based on factors such as portfolio relevancy, product quality, pricing, regulatory compliance, manufacturing capabilities, industry reputation, and ethical sourcing practices.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders, including sales, marketing, and R&D teams, to ensure product offerings align with market needs and customer requirements.
- Oversee product launches and ensure successful product introductions across subsidiaries.
- Support and advise our international sales team by providing technical application advice to customers and regular product training courses.
- National and international travel, e.g., for trade fairs, conferences, and supplier visits.
- Bachelor's degree in science, majoring in biology and/or chemistry.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in product management and/or sourcing within Personal Care and HI&I ingredients, preferably at a chemical distributor.
- Strong understanding of the Personal Care and HI&I market dynamics, including industry trends and regulatory requirements.
- Experience in closely working with manufacturers and/or producers of finished products, from concept to finished products in terms of formulations.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Independent and innovative thinker.
- Ambitious personality with a proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in managing and analyzing market data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential, further languages are a plus (French, German, Italian, Danish, Polish).
