MEMS Gyroscope Performance Improvement PhD Researcher

We are seeking a highly motivated PhD researcher to join our team at Robert Bosch GmbH to work on the performance improvement of MEMS gyroscopes.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the systematic examination and description of performance parameters like offset, sensitivity, and noise in analytic modelling and simulation. The goal is to improve these parameters for the next gyroscope generation. Our team provides system simulation models and environment to support your research. Once some sensor phenomena are understood, sensor-internal compensation mechanisms will be explored in a second step.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Microsystems Engineering, Systems Engineering, Physics, Cybernetics, or Mechatronics with excellent grades.
  • Excellent knowledge in signal processing, control, and system theory, as well as experience with Matlab/Simulink.
  • Good English communication skills, both written and verbal.
