Job Title: PhD Researcher in MEMS Gyroscope Performance Improvement

Job Description:

Tri-axial micro-electromechanical (MEMS) gyroscopes are crucial components in various automotive and consumer applications. As a PhD researcher, you will investigate and describe unknown behavior of performance parameters like offset, sensitivity, and noise in analytic modeling and simulation. Your goal will be to improve these parameters for the next gyroscope generation. We offer a 3-year employment as a scientific researcher at Bosch, providing system simulation models and environment. You will work closely with our experts in this field and be expected to publish papers in high-ranking IEEE conferences and journals.

Requirements:

  • Education: Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Microsystems Engineering, Systems Engineering, Physics, Cybernetics, or Mechatronics with excellent grades.
  • Personality and Working Practice: You are passionate about improving sensor performance and bringing new capabilities to the sensor. You should be able to discuss, break down, and solve complex issues with a high degree of ownership. Your working style should be highly structured and analytical, along with thorough documentation of concepts and results.
  • Experience and Knowledge: Excellent knowledge in signal processing, control, and system theory, as well as experience with Matlab/Simulink.
  • Languages: Good English communication skills, both written and verbal.
