Project Lead Offshore Cable Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Lead Offshore Cable to join our team at TenneT. As a key member of our Regional Cluster Wilhelmshaven, you will be responsible for the realization of the offshore cable scope within the 2GW Program.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable HSE guidelines, contractual requirements, schedule constraints, budget, quality requirements, internal documentation requirements, and authority regulations.
  • Lead and coordinate TenneT's interdisciplinary team assigned to the offshore cable portion of the project.
  • Develop and maintain collaboration-oriented relationships with various stakeholders, including contractors, suppliers, and authorities.
  • Proactively manage project risks and chances, and uphold project management requirements.
  • Manage interfaces across projects, especially in relation to offshore platforms and nearshore cable scopes.
  • Align with experts and teams within Large Projects Offshore and other departments to ensure and improve standards of the 2GW program and consolidate shared learnings across projects.

Requirements

  • A master's degree and academic level of thinking and working, or a comparable qualification.
  • Over 5 years of experience in a comparable role, with in-depth knowledge and comprehensive understanding of offshore cable processes for large infrastructure projects.
  • Dynamic, enthusiastic, and intrinsically motivated, with a strong orientation for collaboration and partnership, and strong communication skills to support stakeholder management.
  • Fluency in German and English, and willingness to travel internationally as per project needs.
  • IPMA Level C certification, or openness to obtain.
